Wilshire Law Firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support our civil litigation team in handling cases from drafting through discovery. You will prepare filings for state and federal courts, communicate with clients and experts, and help manage deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of civil litigation experience, strong communication skills, and meticulous organization in a paperless setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Confident in a paperless work environment.
• Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules.
• Familiarity with California discovery rules.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Type at least 40 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, citation checking, and tabling documents.
• Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel.
• Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts.
• Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation.
• Manage and calendar court deadlines.
• Propound and respond to discovery; maintain organized case files.

The Opportunity

As our Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interests, often in ground-breaking and newsworthy cases.

Accountable for

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, citation checking, and tabling documents

Compensation

• $75,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
