Job summary

Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson & Tardy seeks a Paralegal in its Philadelphia office. The role requires exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills to support attorneys on multiple cases from start to trial.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, e-filing, managing calendars, organizing medical records, and coordinating client communications. Paralegal certificate and 2+ years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate required from accredited school; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Two+ years’ experience as a toxic tort and/or general litigation paralegal or legal assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and paralegal support for attorneys.
• Draft, finalize, and e-file pleadings in federal and state court.
• Manage multiple cases from start to trial.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize medical records and other documents.
• Conduct various document searches and factual research.
• Coordinate lawyers' calendars and litigation case dockets.
• Open new matters and manage physical and electronic files.
• Create, edit, and proofread letters, legal documents, and memos.
• Organize and maintain all correspondence and documents using the relevant document management system.
• Manage emails, calendar appointments, and client contact lists.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate all logistics.
• Import electronic documents into the document management system.
