Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Paralegal for a well-established law firm in Missoula. This is a full-time, in-person role that supports attorneys on a range of litigation matters from document review to trial preparation in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and legal research platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation.
• Experience working under attorney supervision in a law firm environment.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, analyzing, and organizing documents to support litigation strategy.
• Drafting and proofreading legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence.
• Maintaining accurate physical and electronic case files.
• Monitoring filing requirements, court deadlines, and case milestones.
• Conducting legal research and compiling relevant case information.
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom logistics.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Interviewing clients and witnesses to gather information and supporting documentation.
