Job summary

Mandarich Law Group, LLP, a leading debt collection law firm, seeks a Paralegal for our Kansas City, MO office. This full-time, in-office role requires residing in the Kansas City metro area for court appearances, with a 8 AM–5 PM schedule.

You’ll support attorneys, organize legal documents, and manage MO counterclaims. A Bachelor's degree and law firm experience are preferred; Notary licensure within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
• Prior law firm experience - required
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation
• Notary license or ability to obtain Notary license within 90 days of employment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software JST (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal team, including document preparation, filing, and general office tasks.
• Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Manage Counterclaims in MO, drafting releases and dismissals, regular communication with creditors/debtors
