Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Research & Fact-Finding: Conducts legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or specialized AI legal research platforms; synthesizes case law and factual evidence into clear summaries to support case strategy and briefing.
  • Drafting & Editing: Drafts, proofreads, cite checks, and formats legal documents such as motion and discovery shells, exhibits, trial binders, correspondence, pleadings, and agreements, ensuring strict adherence to court rules and firm style guides.
  • Trial & Hearing Preparation: Coordinates the assembly of exhibits, binders, and required documentation for depositions, hearings, trials, or client presentations.

Monitors active case dockets, and downloads and distributes court documents.
  • Case Matter Management: Updates and maintains client data, matter profiles, and conflict-checking systems with a high degree of data integrity. Owns case files from inception through resolution. Coordinates complex calendars, scheduling client consultations, depositions, and internal team meetings across multiple time zones.
  • Other duties as needed, to include administrative backup support as needed.

  • AI experience
  • Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and PowerPoint) required.
  • High level of accuracy in document drafting, formatting, and proofreading, including citation verification and source pulling.
  • Critical thinking skills, superior communication and organization skills, the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously, decisive judgment, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactive, team-first attitude and a genuine interest in the work we perform and client service.
