Job summary

REX, a leading provider of innovative ETFs and ETNs, seeks a proactive legal professional to join its legal team in strengthening fund-related filings and governance processes.

You will manage onboarding, disclosures, and due diligence, coordinating with multiple departments and external providers to drive efficiency from issue identification to resolution. A strong analytical mindset and precise communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in asset management.
• Familiarity with ETFs and understanding of financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects (onboarding, fund launches and updates, board meetings, etc.) from start to finish, keeping track of deadlines and deliverables
• Assist in reviewing and drafting disclosures and other materials

• Review and complete onboarding documents and due diligence questionnaires
• Develop and document policies and procedures
• Assist with various agreements related to ETFs and ETNs
• Maintain organizational records, entity documentation, executed agreements, and governance materials

Position Overview

REX is looking to hire a proactive and practical problem solver to join its legal department. You will work on innovative funds, routine filings, resolving inefficiencies, completing due diligence questionnaires, and picking up tasks that fall in between. Not every task is exciting, but we’re working on growing an exciting business.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re curious, ready to learn, lean into a challenge, and you stick with a problem from identification to resolution. We’re looking for someone with great attention to detail and organizational skills. We need someone that can also think strategically and own tasks.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in asset management. Other relevant experience will be considered
• At least a familiarity with ETFs and an understanding of the financial markets
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have, not required

• Experience supporting registered funds or investment products, including familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Exposure to fund launches, product development, or entity formation and maintenance
• Experience working with fund administrators or other external service providers
• Prior experience in a small legal team or company
