Job summary

Leaders Credit Union in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a Paralegal to support our Legal Counsel, prepare and review contracts and regulatory documents, and ensure compliance across the organization. You will manage legal files, perform thorough legal research, coordinate with internal departments, and stay current on laws affecting the financial industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in paralegal studies, legal studies, or related field (preferred).
• Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in a financial institution or law firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist Legal Counsel in preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory compliance issues.
• Manage and organize legal files, documents, and records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for legal matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial industry.
• Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed.
