Job summary

Burnham Law is seeking a Paralegal to support domestic relations, civil litigation, and criminal defense matters in a fast-paced Prescott office. You will organize cases, draft documents, manage discovery, and communicate with clients in collaboration with attorneys.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years paralegal experience, strong writing and research skills, and proficiency with Filevine, Google Calendar, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Paralegal education or certificate required with 2+ years experience
• Experience supporting domestic relations, civil litigation, or criminal defense preferred
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills; detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and disclosures
• Assist attorneys with case management, calendaring, deadlines, and trial prep
• Maintain and organize electronic case files in the CMS
• Communicate with clients professionally and provide updates
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar platforms
• Prepare exhibits, binders, and trial notebooks
• Coordinate court filings and e-filing processes
• Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trials
• Collaborate with legal assistants to move cases forward smoothly
• Perform other duties to support operations
