A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal specialized in Family Law for a hybrid role based in New Rochelle. The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a family law firm and possesses strong organizational skills.
About the Role: You are an experienced and highly organized Paralegal with at least 2 years of experience in Family Law. The ideal candidate has solid relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll draft and prepare legal documents, support trial and case prep, conduct legal research, assist with client communications, and more. This is a hybrid role: you’ll work in the office three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. Additional in-office days may occasionally be required for onboarding, trial preparation, or other key legal matters. Responsibilities: • Draft motions, pleadings, judgments, and related legal documents (e.g., asset lists, affidavits, child support worksheets) • Conduct legal research • Manage attorney calendars and case files • Schedule appointments, court dates, and mediations/depositions • Liaise between clients and attorneys, including conducting client interviews • Assist in trial settings • Prepare and review discovery materials (disclosure statements, interrogatories, production requests) Qualifications: Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a paralegal in a family law firm or private practice is a must. Candidates without family law experience will not be considered! • Paralegal certification is highly preferred • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies is desired • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills Compensation: $70,000
