Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures related to family law matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as complaints, subpoenas, and motions related to family law cases.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and accessible.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials, taking notes and ensuring all necessary documents are filed on time.
• Coordinate with external agencies regarding dependency and guardianship matters as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field.
• Paralegal certification is preferred.
• Experience working in family law is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
