The Paralegal will provide legal support and assistance to attorneys
Responsibilities
Draft and review legal documents such as lease amendments, extensions and assignments
Facilitate and coordinate due diligence activities and transactional closing of real estate and asset purchase transactions.
Prepare deeds, transfer declarations, easements, bills of sale, tax pro-rations, real estate closing/settlement statements and affidavits.
Qualifications
Paralegal Degree/Certification required
3+ years of experience
Must have a strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and commercial leases, and will be responsible for preparing deeds, transfer declarations, bills of sale, corporate resolutions, and entity organizational documents, as well as preparing and reviewing leases, titles, surveys and other transaction documents.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with high level executives and outside agencies.
Strong technical abilities including MS Word and Excel are required.
