Job summary

A leading mutual insurance company in Johnston, RI is seeking an entry-level Legal professional to provide contract review, legal research, and compliance support. The role is a full-time position with a pay range of $33.56 to $48.24 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal certificate and 1-5 years of relevant experience, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position allows for one remote workday per week, based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience in a paralegal or contracts review position, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage several projects at once with oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract review and provide legal and advisory support.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations and conduct legal research.
• Support compliance initiatives through legal research, documentation, and planning.
