Job summary

Scoular Co. is seeking a Paralegal to support the Legal Department with contract drafting, review, analysis, and administration, as well as litigation, regulatory, transactional, compliance, and other general legal matters.

The role involves preparing and reviewing contracts, maintaining records, tracking deadlines, and coordinating workflows to enable efficient operations. Strong drafting, organizational, and research skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years paralegal experience in-house or at a law firm
• Experience with drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and legal documents
• Strong organizational, time-management and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract drafting, review, and administration using templates and guidance
• Identify key terms, obligations, deadlines, risks, and inconsistencies
• Coordinate contract intake, approvals, execution, distribution, and filing
• Maintain contract files, trackers, and clause libraries
• Support audits, due diligence, and records requests
• Provide routine legal support to internal clients as appropriate
• Conduct legal research under supervision
• Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams on matters
