Easterseals NH & VT in Manchester, NH seeks a Paralegal to support legal, compliance, insurance, and policy matters under the COO. The role offers a high level of confidentiality and interaction with Executives and External Counsel.

Responsibilities include document review, maintaining secure file systems, drafting policies, and supporting litigation holds. Requires strong communication and 3+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in a law firm, corporation, non-profit, or government setting.
• Current Paralegal Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executives and external attorneys with document review and coding.
• Maintain secured internal site for legal/compliance matters and organize case files.
• Issue litigation hold requests and categorize documents received.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers on pending litigation and ensure proper coverage.
• Draft and edit policies per Easterseals or state procedures.
• Meet with executives, attorneys, investigators, and other professionals.
• Draft minutes for committee meetings.
