Cohn Goldberg & Deutsch L L C is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Processor in Linthicum Heights, MD to support attorneys in commercial bankruptcy, litigation, collections, and judgment enforcement. The role emphasizes docket monitoring, file organization, and client communications.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced workload both independently and as part of a team, with experience in creditor-focused matters and familiarity with PACER

Qualifications

Experience in a law firm environment preferred.
Familiarity with bankruptcy, litigation, collections, or creditor’s rights is ideal.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with creditor representation in commercial bankruptcy matters, monitor filings and deadlines.
Monitor bankruptcy dockets through PACER/ECF, identify deadlines and developments.
Prepare and file bankruptcy-related pleadings and supporting documents.
Assist with commercial litigation and collection matters from review to judgment enforcement.
Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation for hearings.
Draft documents such as complaints, affidavits, motions, and discovery requests.
Assist with post-judgment enforcement, garnishments, liens, and related remedies.
Coordinate service of process and track completion.
Maintain calendaring and docket management to meet deadlines.
