Zusammenfassung

Voce seeks Paralegals to support the SWAN Legal Services Initiative (LSI) across county offices. You will draft petitions, orders, motions and stipulations, and assist with hearings and witness preparation within a collaborative child welfare context.

With our partner Diakon, Voce co-administers SWAN for the Pennsylvania DHS, offering strong teamwork, ongoing training, and a commitment to permanency for children in care.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree, bachelor’s, or paralegal certificate preferred.
• General knowledge in legal or child welfare.
• Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent considered in lieu of degree/certification.

Aufgaben

• Draft legal documents for solicitor review and filing.
• Participate in county court hearings and pre-hearing conferences.
• Assist with lay and expert witness preparation for testimony.
• Facilitate and/or train on approved LSI training topics.
• Support county best practices and procedures.
