Job summary

Winstead PC in Houston is seeking an experienced paralegal for the Business Litigation Practice Group. The role supports pleadings, discovery, document review, and trial preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 4 years of paralegal experience in a law firm, a Paralegal Certificate, or a CLA certification. Strong written and oral communication, and willingness to work overtime, are essential.

TheBusiness Litigation Practice Groupinthe Houstonoffice is seeking an experienced paralegal. Successful candidates will have experience preparing and filing pleadings, drafting client correspondence, performing document review, assisting with discovery, maintaining a calendar of docket events and deadlines, assisting in hearings and at trial and utilizing presentation technology. Candidates will be expected to manage a diverse caseload, including eminent domain and commercial litigation, and have flexibility to work overtime when necessary. Superior oral and written communication skills are essential.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and at least one of the following criteria: (1) 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm; (2) Paralegal Certificate; (3) Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
