Job summary

A Houston litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. Responsibilities include organizing case files, managing medical records, preparing for trials, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation experience and a degree or paralegal certificate. This position offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary and additional benefits.

Our professional staff plays an important role in our continuous delivery of exceptional service and results to our clients.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you’ll play a key role in supporting our attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Organizing case files and maintaining case management systems
• Ordering, summarizing, and managing medical records
• Preparing for trial and attending proceedings
• Maintaining positive client relationships
• Coordinating with attorneys and staff on complex projects
• Preserving attorney-client confidentiality
• Conducting legal research
• Assisting with pleadings, exhibits, transcript summaries, discovery responses, and trial notebooks
• Scheduling and confirming meetings and appointments
