A leading company is seeking a highly skilled Junior Legal Associate to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, particularly in contract review, and will support the legal team with various tasks. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining organized legal databases.
We are looking for a highly skilled Junior Legal Associate who is fluent in US English and has a solid legal background. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reviewing and editing contracts and legal documents to minimize risks and exposure for both clients and our organization. You'll work remotely, supporting our legal team with various tasks, including contract analysis, document preparation, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and other legal matters. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough research on legal topics and present findings clearly to the team. • Review, edit, and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and risk mitigation. • Assist in preparing legal filings, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. • File legal documents online with State and Federal courts as required. • Collaborate with the legal team to provide insights, recommendations, and legal strategy. • Maintain organized legal databases and files, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Qualifications: • Graduate degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent). • 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment with a focus on contracts and agreements. • Proficiency in US English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience editing and reviewing contracts to minimize exposure to risks for clients and organizations. • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide sound legal recommendations. • Familiarity with legal research tools and databases. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to work independently and take initiative. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working Conditions : • Remote work arrangement. • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CDT (CST). • 1-hour break per shift. • Willingness to work overtime if required. • 3-hour weekly training sessions after regular work hours. Note : • Candidates must not be currently studying law. • The role involves a strong focus on contract review, and experience in this area is crucial. Compensation: $200 - $400 monthly
