Job summary

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is hiring a Paralegal for its Lake Mary, FL office. This in-office, full-time, non-exempt role runs Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a focus on supporting Florida attorneys in settlement facilitation and document management.

Candidates should have a Paralegal certificate or associate's degree (preferred) and prior law firm experience; proficiency in MS Office and legal software is desired. Salary ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or an associate's degree preferred.
• Prior law firm experience required.
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and legal management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist FL attorneys and litigation staff in facilitating and finalizing settlements of contested matters.
• Submit offers from defense counsel to clients via email or proprietary system.
• Draft settlement documents and obtain signatures from all parties.
• Manage and organize legal documents with confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a leading debt collection law firm with offices located in multiple states. We are currently recruiting a Paralegal for our Lake Mary, FL office.

This a full-time, In-office, non-exempt position. Base schedule is Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM, in-office.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for assisting FL attorneys and other litigation staff in facilitating and finalizing settlements of contested litigation matters involving debt defense council.
• Submitting offers from defense counsel to clients using preferred methods (i.e. email or upload into proprietary system)
• Identifying and generating drafts of settlement documents
• Facilitate obtaining signatures from all parties
• Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards.

• Paralegal Certificate or associate's degree (preferred).
• Prior law firm experience - required
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and legal management software (i.e. JST preferred)
