Job summary

Mandarich Law Group, LLP in Florida is seeking a Paralegal to support FL attorneys and litigation staff in debt defense matters. This is a full-time, in-office role with a standard 8-to-5 schedule, Monday through Friday.

You will assist with settlements, draft documents, manage documents, and coordinate signatures while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Prior law firm experience and a paralegal credential are preferred, with salary $22-$26 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate or associate's degree (preferred).
• Prior law firm experience - required.
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist FL attorneys and litigation staff in settlements of contested litigation matters involving debt defense counsel.
• Submit offers from defense counsel to clients via email or upload into proprietary system.
• Identify and draft settlement documents.
• Facilitate obtaining signatures from all parties.
• Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a leading debt collection law firm with offices located in multiple states. We are currently recruiting a Paralegal for our Lake Mary, FL office.

This a full-time, In-office, non-exempt position. Base schedule is Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM, in-office.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for assisting FL attorneys and other litigation staff in facilitating and finalizing settlements of contested litigation matters involving debt defense council.
• Submitting offers from defense counsel to clients using preferred methods (i.e. email or upload into proprietary system)
• Identifying and generating drafts of settlement documents
• Facilitate obtaining signatures from all parties
• Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards.

• Paralegal Certificate or associate's degree (preferred).
• Prior law firm experience - required
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and legal management software (i.e. JST preferred)
