Job description

Rapidly growing Family Law firm is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join their team.

This is a completely remote role with the exception of assisting attorneys in court, when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
• Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial, including organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing witness lists, and drafting motions and briefs
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
• Manage case files and documents, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of family law paralegal experience
• Strong research and writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
