Job summary

The candidate will work closely with our attorneys, navigating local rules and deadlines while handling pleadings, discovery, and calendaring in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a valid Paralegal Certificate and a minimum of three years of family law experience. The ideal applicant can immediately take over a full load of family law clients and support

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate required.
• 3+ years of family law paralegal experience.
• Familiar with Local Rules of Court and proficient in drafting pleadings and briefs.
• Strong writing skills and calendaring policy discipline.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and coordinate hearings, depositions, and trials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal pleadings, judicial council forms, correspondence, and briefs.
• Maintain calendaring for hearings, events, and depositions.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Schedule hearings, events, and depositions; prepare files for hearings and trials.
• Take over a full load of family law clients and assist attorneys as needed.

We are looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our Riverside team! The selected candidate will join our team of prestigious legal professionals in our positive, forward-thinking environment and work closely with our attorneys, who are well-known in the community and highly respected by their peers, the bench, and the bar.

Ability to multitask, be familiar with Local Rules of Court, be proficient in preparing legal pleadings, judicial council forms, correspondence, briefs, possess excellent writing skills, maintain calendaring policy, propound and respond to discovery, meet and exceed deadlines, schedule hearings, events, and depositions, prepare files for hearings and trials, and immediately maintain a caseload.

Must have a valid Paralegal Certificate

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience as a family law Paralegal

The ideal applicant could immediately take over a full load of family law clients and do nearly any family law paralegal task assigned by an Attorney at the firm

Compensation

$30 - $40 hourly
