Job summary

Credo Legal is seeking a paralegal to join a growing team, providing vital client support and managing a caseload. You will settle and negotiate accounts, convey complex legal concepts clearly, and deliver compassionate client service in crisis situations.

The role:

As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing vital support to our clients in addition to managing your own caseload. Primary functions of your caseload requires: settling and negotiating accounts to receive a favorable outcome for our clients, ability to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clients, providing excellent customer service which may include de‑escalating or comforting clients in crisis, time‑management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional and ethical relationships while maintaining client confidentiality

• Communicate effectively and professionally with: clients, opposing counsel, co‑workers, attorneys, and any other external parties

• Draft, review, and organize all correspondence and documents ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and legal guidelines

• Identify and analyze discrepancies within cases and raise them to Attorneys
• Attend relevant training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills
• Assist colleagues when needed and contribute to team goals.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a firm required.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies or similar, Paralegal Certification; or an equivalent mix of education and experience
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities within tight time constraints

Compensation

Salary range of 60,000 – $65,000 dependent on experience.
