Job summary

TrueSeek, a multidisciplinary law firm based in Central Jersey, NJ and New York, NY, is expanding its General Litigation team and seeking an experienced paralegal to support workers' compensation and Insurance defense matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with ProLaw, Excel, and EDMS. This is an on-site, full-time role offering stability and collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and respond to discovery demands while working with medical providers to obtain and summarize medical records.
• Coordinate with experts to schedule independent medical examinations and other discovery activities across active workers' compensation matters.
• Manage case-related documentation and maintain organized accurate files while supporting attorneys throughout all phases of workers' compensation defense litigation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management while independently managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work product in a high-volume litigation environment.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Based in Cnetral Jersey, NJ and New York, NY we are a multidisciplinary law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The General Litigation team is expanding and seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a growing team supporting sophisticated workers' compensation and Insurance defense matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigation paralegal who values substantive case support collaborative teamwork and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and respond to discovery demands while working with medical providers to obtain and summarize medical records with accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate with experts to schedule independent medical examinations inspections and other expert discovery activities across active workers' compensation matters
• Manage case-related documentation and maintain organized accurate files while supporting attorneys throughout all phases of workers' compensation defense litigation
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management while independently managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work product in a high-volume litigation environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience as a paralegal with demonstrated experience summarizing medical records required; workers' compensation or related litigation defense experience preferred
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 ProLaw Excel and e-document management software preferred with strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively; this is a fully on-site position
