What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and file pleadings in federal, state, and county court
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant statutes, case law, and documents
- Draft affidavits, legal correspondence, and maintain organized case files
- Schedule depositions, meetings, and coordinate with expert witnesses
- Prepare exhibits, summarize medical records, and assist trial preparation
- Track and record billable time accurately
- Collaborate with other paralegals on document production and case management
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Be able to do the job as described
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe
- Experience drafting and filing pleadings in federal, state, and county courts
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment
