Job summary

LifeVantage is seeking a Paralegal to support its global legal team in corporate governance, contract management, regulatory compliance, and IP matters. You will work directly with the Deputy General Counsel on high-impact, cross-border matters for a publicly traded company.

The role combines traditional paralegal duties with substantive project work across dietary supplement, direct‑selling, employment, privacy, and international operations, requiring detail‑oriented, proactive professionals

Qualifications

  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs)
  • Experience maintaining corporate records and filing systems to support a lean in-house team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management tools; strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and organize commercial contracts and third‑party agreements.
  • Maintain corporate records, minute books, resolutions, and organizational documents for domestic and international entities.
  • Manage administrative corporate obligations across the U.S. and internationally, including annual reports and licenses.
  • Review marketing materials and product claims for FTC/FDA compliance and company policy alignment.
  • Track relevant legislation and regulatory developments (FTC, FDA, Privacy).
  • Manage the intellectual property docket, renewals, filings, and docket organization.
  • Conduct legal/regulatory research as needed and support development of templates and SOPs.
  • Communicate professionally with internal partners, consultants, vendors, and external counsel.

The Opportunity

LifeVantage is looking for a paralegal to join our legal team and provide hands‑on support across a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters for a global, publicly traded direct‑selling company. This is a high‑impact role on a lean legal team where you will work directly with the Deputy General Counsel, supporting substantive legal work that touches every part of the business. Position Summary

Paralegal – The Paralegal position is a critical position that provides support LifeVantage’s legal department across corporate governance, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and general legal operations. This position combines traditional paralegal responsibilities (contract management, corporate records, research, and filings) with substantive project work supporting the legal department on matters spanning dietary supplement and cosmetic regulations, direct‑selling compliance, employment, privacy, intellectual property and international operations. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and other third‑party agreements.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, minute books, resolutions, and organizational documents for domestic and international entities.
  • Assist in managing the administrative requirements of the Company’s corporate entities across the U.S. and internationally, including annual reports, registered agents and business licenses.
  • Assist in reviewing marketing materials, product claims, product labels and independent consultant communications for compliance with FTC guidance, FDA requirements, and Company policies.
  • Assist in tracking legislation that could affect the Company, including FTC, FDA, Privacy, etc.
  • Assist in managing the Company’s intellectual property docket, including tracking renewal dates, filing and docket organization.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research as needed.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain internal legal templates, playbooks, filing systems, and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with internal business partners, independent consultants, vendors, and external counsel.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Company legal information.
Education and/or Experience
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program, or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, with at least 1 year supporting an in‑house legal department or corporate legal team.
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, or similar).
  • Experience keeping a legal department organized and developing and maintaining internal legal templates, playbooks, filing systems, and standard operating procedures to help the department run efficiently.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, lean environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience supporting a publicly traded company.
  • Experience managing the administration of entities including annual reports and business licenses.
  • Experience managing an intellectual property docket.
  • Experience with AI‑assisted legal research or contract review tools.
  • Familiarity with direct‑selling, dietary supplements, or cosmetics regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with FTC, FDA, or consumer protection regulatory frameworks.
  • Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain one).
