Job summary

Connect Search LLC is seeking a Paralegal in Kansas City, MO onsite. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts, along with comprehensive legal research to support ongoing cases.

You will manage the firm’s calendar, deadlines, and depositions, while coordinating client consultations and acting as a primary contact for witnesses and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and contracts.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, analyze case law, and compile relevant statutory authorities to support ongoing cases.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring accurate indexing and compliance with data management policies.
• Manage the firm’s legal calendar, tracking court deadlines, scheduling depositions, and coordinating client consultations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather necessary case information and documentation.

Job description

Job Title: Paralegal
Pay: $22-25 an hour (based on experience)
