Job description

Team Tobias Staffing is seeking an experienced Paralegal in Houston. As a paralegal, you will be a member of our corporate legal team, reporting directly to your Managing Legal Counsel. This role supports a diverse range of legal and operational outcomes, including many business issues.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and summarize third-party supplier contracts.
• Coordinate and document actions related to contract management.
• Track the statuses of third-party supplier contracts throughout various contract and risk review processes.
• Complete risk methodology spreadsheets and data entry in applicable systems.
• Assist with legal contract assessments.
• Receive and respond to direction from attorneys.

Qualifications

• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Significant knowledge of and ability to understand contract language.
• Proven ability to complete work and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Extensive experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with third-party risk management and use of contracts/risk management programs.
