Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services seeks a detail-oriented paralegal to support agricultural lending, capital markets transactions, contract management, and legal operations. You'll partner with attorneys, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely execution.

The role focuses on drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating closings, and conducting research across multi-state matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Studies or Pre-Law preferred.
• 5+ years of business or legal office experience required.
• 3+ years of paralegal experience preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, real estate transactions, legal descriptions, and title insurance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to agricultural lending, real estate transactions, and financial services.
• Partner with lending, operations, and legal teams to support loan closings and complex transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on multi-state and large-scale lending projects.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on regulatory, compliance, and contract-related matters.
• Manage legal cases, contract administration, and legal service billing processes.
• Support legal requests from stakeholders, government agencies, regulators, and third parties.
• Track legal matters, documentation, and deadlines to ensure timely and compliant execution.
