Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join an established legal team in Bloomfield, NJ. The role covers intake through settlement, with close client interaction and case management responsibilities.

You will organize medical records, coordinate with insurers and providers, prepare settlement demands, monitor deadlines, and support attorneys toward favorable resolutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant handling personal injury pre-litigation matters.
• Familiarity with personal injury claims, medical records, insurance claims, and settlement demands.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and client service.
• Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a case load of personal injury matters through the pre-litigation process.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other involved parties.
• Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation.
• Track treatment progress, follow up on records, and maintain accurate case files.
• Prepare demand packages and settlement demands for attorney review.
• Monitor deadlines, insurance claim status, and important case developments.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, lien resolution, and settlement documentation.
• Provide attorneys with case updates and keep files organized and moving forward.
