Success Matcher Recruitment is partnering with a respected Atlanta law firm seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to support a defense-focused, partner-led team in employment defense and complex civil litigation.

In this role, you will partner directly with lead attorneys, draft and organize pleadings, manage discovery, and coordinate deposition materials while maintaining meticulous filing standards in a deadline-driven environment. A long-term home with autonomy is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience focused on defense-side civil litigation.
• Strong Bluebooking and cite-checking with attention to the latest Bluebook edition.
• Experience in labor and employment defense is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support lead attorneys across employment and complex civil litigation matters, including occasional trial prep.
• Draft, proofread, and assemble complex pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and formal correspondence.
• Manage end-to-end discovery operations: organize document productions, draft deposition summaries, assemble exhibits, and run database queries on e-discovery platforms.
• Maintain steady daily workflows and filing accuracy across multiple matters.

What You Will Do

• Partner directly with lead attorneys across the entire life cycle of employment and complex civil litigation matters, including occasional trial preparation.
• Draft, proofread, and assemble complex pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and formal correspondence.
• Manage end-to-end discovery operations: organize and coordinate document productions, draft deposition summaries, assemble exhibits, and run database queries using legal research and e-discovery platforms.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple active matters, maintaining steady daily workflows and filing accuracy.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, strictly focused on defense-side complex civil litigation. Experience in labor and employment defense is a significant advantage.
• Citation Skills: Strong Bluebooking and cite-checking proficiency, with an eye for detail under the latest Bluebook edition.
• Firm Background: Prior background at large, established defense practices where rigorous standards are standard operating procedure.
• Work Ethic & Track Record: Demonstrated stability in prior positions, proven composure under deadline pressure, and an interest in establishing a long-term home.
