A leading renewable energy infrastructure developer headquartered in the Southeast is seeking a highly organized, tech forward, and detail oriented Paralegal or Legal Operations Specialist to support their growing portfolio.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the General Counsel in a high autonomy environment. You will serve as the organizational backbone of the legal function, managing transactional deal flow, cleaning up historical record architecture, and leveraging cutting edge AI tools to build scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Transactional Support & Closings: Support the General Counsel with project closings, refinancings, and M&A transactions. Manage document lifecycles, execution packages, and associated schedules (including MIPAs, NDAs, and ancillary agreements).
• Real Estate & Title Matters: Coordinate land records filings with county clerks (e.g., Memoranda of Lease, SNDAs). Assist with basic title searches and property level due diligence.
• File Architecture & File Organization: Take ownership of organizing, auditing, and modernizing project and corporate file repositories. Work on structured audit blueprints to fix historical anomalies and establish clean record keeping protocols.
• Entity & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor corporate registrations and multi state business licenses, prepare state regulatory filings, and track contract milestones and deadlines.

Who You Are

• Experienced Professional: Experience as a transactional paralegal or legal operations specialist within a corporate in house legal department or law firm. Backgrounds in Commercial Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, M&A, or Oil & Gas are welcome. (Licensed attorneys or J.D.s seeking a manageable, non litigation in house schedule are also encouraged to apply!)
• Tech Forward Operator: High comfort level working in Google Workspace and leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to optimize document management and legal workflows.
• Self Starter & Problem Solver: Thrives in a fast-paced, scrappy, and entrepreneurial setting. Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity and working independently without daily micromanagement.

Compensation & Flexibility

• Location: Atlanta - Hybrid (3-4 days in office, 1-2 days WFH)
• Package: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus corporate bonus potential and full benefits.
