Olympia School District is seeking a part-time Paraeducator to assist teachers with lesson implementation, maintain student records, and monitor students for safety in a constructive learning environment.
The role involves bookkeeping for a student store, inventory management, and supervising students working in the store. Candidates must meet education/assessment requirements and complete health trainings as needed.
Purpose Statement/s: The job of \"Paraeducator\" is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of students, and relieving teachers of routine clerical tasks.
This 3.0 hpd continuing position works Monday – Friday 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
This person is responsible for student store bookkeeping and inventory management. They will also help to supervise students who are working in the store.
Employees will receive vacation leave, paid holidays and additional compensation beyond their base salary as outlined in their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
