Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires the candidate to have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR the ability to demonstrate, through a formal local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or readiness in those subjects, as appropriate). Testing TBD.You will be working with a special education student and will provide individual services and support for that student per their Individual Education Plan (IEP).Qualifications: Candidate must be a high school graduate and have knowledge of principles and practices relating to Special Education, subjects taught in District schools, and principles and techniques of providing instructional assistance in a variety of subject areas. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary, as well as good oral and written communication skills are essential. Maintaining a current CPR and First Aid certification is required.

6 hours per day, 5 days per week, 185 days, 10 months per year. hours 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
