Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher or 72 college credits preferred or required.
• Experience with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred and/or may be required.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR training and Right Response Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support paraeducator duties in a classroom with high needs students.
• Assist with implementing social skills and behavior programs.
• Prepare materials and maintain student progress records.
• Deliver lessons under guidance of teacher and cooperating staff.
• Supervise students in non-academic settings and assist with daily activities.
