St. Anne's Family Services in San Marino, CA is seeking a Paraeducator to join our Early Childhood Education team. You will support active care and supervision of young children, assist with planning and implementing activities, and help foster inclusive, engaging learning environments.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Pay rate is $21.97 per hour with benefits including PTO, EAP, health, dental, vision, pet insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and flexible spending accounts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months’ experience as a student intern, tutor, or instructional assistant working with pre-elementary school children (strongly preferred).
• 6+ ECE/CHDV units (strongly preferred).
• High school diploma (preferred).
• California Teaching Commission Child Development Associate Teacher permit (preferred); if no permit, a professional development plan will be in place for pathway to obtain the permit.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, Korean, and/or Tagalog (preferred).

• Support daily operations by preparing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, clean, engaging learning environment.

Compensation

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary

As a Paraeducator within St. Anne’s Early Childhood Education department, you will directly impact young children, ages 0‑3. You will support active care and supervision, collaborate with and assist teaching staff in planning, facilitating, and implementing individual and group activities that stimulate social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. You will assist with the inclusion of children with special needs and encourage parent engagement, promoting the parent as the child’s first teacher.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM

Location: San Marino EHS – 3156 San Marino, Los Angeles, CA 90006
