Job summary

Northampton Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator for Bridge Street Elementary School in Northampton, MA. The position offers a 32.50-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 7:25 a.m. to 2:25 p.m., with an hourly pay rate of $24.92–$31.44 based on experience.

Start date is as soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and an Associates’ degree or ParaPro certificate (or 48 college credits) preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff with instructional and supervision duties.
• Supervise students individually and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom management and organizing instructional materials.
• Record keeping for assigned tasks and activities.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and transfer students as needed.
