Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required.
• Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status including an Associate's Degree or two years of college, a Bachelor degree, or Paraeducator II certification from NH DOE.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the classroom teacher, assists in implementing and reinforcing the instructional curriculum.
• Helps prepare and administer testing and provides input regarding student performance.
• Preschool Paraeducator assists with developmentally appropriate curriculum for assigned age groups.
• Technical Paraeducator assists with day-to-day program operations and tasks using provided materials and technology.
• District Wide Special Education Paraeducator supports IEP goals and may assist with health needs and related care.
