Job summary

Renton School District is seeking a Paraeducator to provide instructional support in our schools. This role assists teachers, supports students with diverse needs, and helps maintain a positive learning environment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications: a high school diploma and one of several criteria (AA degree or higher, 72 quarter/48 semester credits, or ParaPro passing score). Start date and hours vary by location.

Paraeducator Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:

• A copy of their high school diploma AND
• Documentation of one of the following:
  a. A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
  b. 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
  c. Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment (If you would like information about scheduling an assessment, please contact Human Resources at 425.204.2356)
