Position Information: Hours per day: Depends on position. Days per week: M-F. Work Calendar: 181 or 182 days plus paid holidays. Pay level: RESP 1 or RESP 2. Experience for work in public schools will be granted for prior classroom experience for paraeducator positions or for prior office experience for office openings. Start and end times may vary by location/school schedule. Applicants must be graduates of the Renton School District Teacher Academy.

Paraeducator Minimum Qualifications

• A copy of their high school diploma AND
• Documentation of one of the following:
  • A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher.
  • 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100‑level and higher courses.
  • Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment (If you would like information about scheduling an assessment, please contact Human Resources at 425‑204‑2356).
