Job summary

Fargo Public Schools is seeking paraeducators to provide instructional support to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee. There are two classifications of Paraeducators: I and II, and the schools will hire based on student and school needs.

These positions are full-time on a 9-month schedule, Monday through Friday, with an hourly salary range of $18.24 to $22.70. A High School Diploma or GED is required, plus strong communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing.
• Basic academic and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students under the direction of a certified teacher or licensed employee.
• Deliver direct services to students in classroom settings.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and supporting paraprofessional duties as assigned.
