The Paraeducator IB works collaboratively with students/staff in an intensive learning support classroom, special education classrooms or other K-12 learning environments. This position assists with a variety of instructional support and supervision duties of students who have learning, communication, physical, behavioral, or emotional disabilities. Additionally, this position prepares educational materials, monitors academic progress, collects student data, and implements behavior plans. (Assigned to IS, ISES, ILS, and DK.)
6.5 hours a day; 181 day calendar
This position is non-continuing for the 2026-2027 school year only. Typically, non-continuing assignments fill a variety of temporary vacancies to help the school district meet a short-term work demand. This work assignment expires on the end date of employment and there is no reasonable assurance for work after the end date. An employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
