Job summary

Fremont County School District #25 is seeking a Paraprofessional (General Education OR SPED) to assist teaching staff in supporting learning programs for students in their designated educational environment.

Responsibilities include reinforcing concepts, assisting with records and materials, organizing supplies, and helping implement discipline per district policies. Requires a high school diploma, Criteria Test, and substitute permit (or within 60 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of the Criteria Test is required.
• Substitute Teacher Permit (or within 60 days from hire date) is required.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce educational concepts to individual students or groups using the teacher's objectives and lessons.
• Assist with record keeping, grading, filing, and copying materials as needed.
• Assist in obtaining, organizing and using supplies, books, materials and equipment as assigned.
• Implement various levels of discipline per district and building policies.
• Utilize computers, copiers, and other equipment in performance of duties.
• Attend training, in-service, and meetings as deemed appropriate.
• Recognize and maintain confidentiality of information regarding students and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
