Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute the degree.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabricate products efficiently.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Solid analytical and technical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design & Fabricate: Participate in the design, development, and fabrication of parachute and shelter components.
• Prototype Development: Create preliminary layouts, execute design details, and fabricate prototypes using knowledge of construction techniques, production methods, and materials.
• Precision Repairs: Repair and modify airdrop and shelter equipment with fine seams and replacement parts that match original strength and quality.
• Support Innovation: Assist engineers and project managers by fabricating experimental/prototype parachutes, cargo delivery systems, shelters, tents, covers, and other softwall structures.
• Collaborate & Interpret: Work from work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal concepts, consulting with design draftsmen and engineers to bring ideas to life.
