Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of transit operation experience with direct customer service.
• Valid Class B CDL with passenger airbrake or mandatory passenger endorsements.
• Current DOT physical certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates passenger vehicles and vans for customers with special needs.
• Follow para-transit routes and assist with fixed routes as needed.
• Maintain safety inspections and communicate with Dispatch.
• Provide courteous customer service and information on routes, fares, and services.
• Assist boarding/disembarking and with wheelchair patrons.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance and keep vehicle clean.
• Work as an Essential employee during Snow/Ice Control and emergencies.
