Job summary

Prescott Unified School District 1 is hiring a Para Pro II for a 10-month position (6.5 hours per day). The role supports classroom activities and assists teachers to help students succeed.

The hourly pay ranges from $16.07 to $16.93, with the IVP fingerprint requirement for all employees. Eligible candidates must meet one of several criteria: a high school diploma or GED with an associate degree or higher, or 60 credit hours, or a passing score on a Para Pro assessment.

• Two years of study (60+ credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education.

Para Pro requirements: In order to be eligible for a position as a Para Pro in P.U.S.D. prospective employee must meet ONE of the following:

• High School diploma or GED AND An Associate's degree or higher OR
• Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education OR
• Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved Para Pro assessments.
