Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools is seeking a paraprofessional for the 2026/2027 school year, with an hourly rate of $19.67 for a 35-hour week over 185 days. The district provides a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid leave and retirement plan.

Required credentials include an associate degree or equivalent, plus necessary certifications (TCI, CPR/First Aid/AED) and successful background checks. Preference given to experience with special needs students.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher or 60 semester hours / ETS 460.
• Obtain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification within 2 district trainings.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Successful pre-employment physical and background check.

Requirements
