Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Teacher (3rd Grade) to join our district for the 2026/2027 academic year. The incumbent reports to the Building Principal and must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education along with a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE.

An Elementary K-5 All Subjects (ZG) Endorsement is also required. Preferred is prior classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting range $53,887-$78,454.
