Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, monitor and maintain plate forming machines and associated packaging equipment. The role requires attention to quality, safety and timely production on a multi-line setup.

You will inspect parts, adjust machinery as needed, and perform daily preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. A team-focused environment emphasizes communication and reliability on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of machine safety practices such as lock-out/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain two plate forming presses and two packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot operation issues for forming presses and packaging equipment.
• Supply and install raw materials for presses and packaging lines as needed.
• Monitor product quality from forming to packaging stages.
• Communicate with Packers to ensure continuous production of high-quality output.
• Load paperboard rolls and ensure correct placement on machines.
• Assist Packers when lines run smoothly and efficiently.
• Record machine settings and report issues daily with detailed notes.
• Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machine parts.
• Document productivity and losses with leadership and shift counterparts.
